Our company, a medium size world wide operating organisation, belongs to the packaging technology division of the Bosch Group. With quality products, Bosch occupies a prominent position in the packaging technology market. The organization designs, develops and produces hightech machines particularly for the food and stimulants industry.

For our mechanical engineering department we are looking for a:

Group Leader Mechanical Engineering

Your function:

The goal of the incumbent will be to organise internal processes and supervise the execution of the work in terms of an optimum agreed target (i.e. cost, delivery time and specification) of mechanical constructions for development projects, customer’s orders and quotations for stand alone machines as well as complex packaging lines from order up to and including the commissioning at the customer’s site.

In this position, you will manage approximately 25 permanent as well as temporary employees.

Some general competence needs to be demonstrated: cooperation, initiative, customer focused, energetic, accuracy, motivation and “consequence” management skills.

Some specific competence: planning and organizing, communication, management, focused on result, resolution, stability, verbal and written expressive skills with a flexible outlook.

Ideally, the candidate should meet the below position demands:

A University Graduate in Mechanical engineering;
2-4 years experience in a managerial position;
Experience in working abroad and be prepared to accept an international position within a PA-PM establishment within a few years;
Experience in the packaging industry, especially in the vertical machine engineering;
Good communicative skills;
Excellent knowledge of the English and German language.

Level of position:
Above CAO.
